Ethica — Lagos edition ☀️
Ethica is a dedicated space to work on the things you actually care about. We begin with brief introductions and light icebreakers to help everyone settle in. From 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM, we move into Pomodoro-based deep work, using 45-minute focus blocks with short breaks in between. At 2:30PM, we transition into show and tell and a more relaxed hangout, where you can share what you worked on, what you learned, or what’s been on your mind.
Please try to arrive on time so we can keep the flow smooth and uninterrupted. Bring your laptop or notebook, and feel free to come with snacks if you’d like. It’s not required, but it definitely helps keep the energy up and the creative vibes flowing.
So what is Ethica?
Ethica is a live co-working and thinking space inspired by communities like Socratica, but rooted in the pace, curiosity, and creativity of Lagos. It’s time intentionally set aside to work on the things that don’t always fit into school, work, or everyday responsibilities. The side project you’ve been postponing. The idea you’ve been quietly refining. The thing you know matters, but rarely gets space.
This is a calm and welcoming environment to focus deeply, share unfinished ideas, receive thoughtful feedback, meet new people, and explore your intellectual curiosities without pressure.
Ethica is for builders, designers, writers, artists, filmmakers, learners, researchers, and founders. If you’re writing something meaningful, building something experimental, learning something challenging, or chasing an idea you can’t let go of, you’ll feel at home here.
