Reactive Network Seminar by Toronto DAO
Toronto DAO is hosting a seminar in partnership with Reactive Network at George Brown College.
This event will explore Reactive Network’s approach to blockchain automation, cross-chain execution, and event-driven smart contract design. It will be a great opportunity for developers, founders, students, and Web3 enthusiasts to learn more about emerging infrastructure and connect with others in the ecosystem.

Toronto DAO is hosting a deeper-dive seminar with Rong Kai Wong, CEO of Reactive Network, for an evening focused on what Reactive is, how it works, and what people are actually building with it.
This is not a casual panel or a quick fireside chat. It’s a more serious session built for people who want to sit down, pay attention, and really learn something. Expect a longer-form presentation, technical context, a practical showcase, and time to connect with others after.
Rong Kai will lead the main session, including:
an introduction to Reactive Network and the core idea behind it
a look at the broader technical side of building with Reactive
a demo example to help bring the concept to life
We’ll also have an additional presentation from Noak Lindqvist, who will be showcasing SmarTrust, including the Reactive app built at rn.smartrust.me.
About the showcase:
SmarTrust is a practical example of an app built with Reactive. It helps freelancers manage workflows around contracts, milestones, and secure payments. Built to work across multiple chains, it uses Reactive to help create a more connected marketplace where legal professionals can support freelancers through adjudication.
About Rong Kai Wong:
Rong Kai is the CEO of Reactive Network and previously worked at Binance, where he was part of the team behind the $100M BSC Accelerator Fund. Before that, he served as a Superintendent in the Singapore Police Force. Across public-sector leadership, major operations, and Web3, he brings a rare mix of structure, scale, and real execution experience. He has also led PARSIQ through multiple phases of the blockchain market, with that journey culminating in Reactive Network.
This seminar is a good fit for developers, founders, operators, students, and serious Web3 builders who want more than surface-level crypto talk.
There’ll also be pizza and refreshments, so come hungry — but also come ready to listen, learn, and spend a solid stretch of time with the material.

Located inside the George Brown Waterfront Campus. Take the elevator to the 4th floor or walk up the open stairs in the main atrium from the ground floor.
Accessible by TTC bus to Dockside Drive from Union, Castle Frank, and Pape Stations.
Parking:
There is Green P public parking conveniently located underneath the building, and the same elevator takes you to the main floor.
