7slides X Travel: Transformation

​7Slides is a phone-free storytelling event built around a simple constraint: 7 minutes, 7 photos, one story.

​Inspired by the tradition of gathering neighbors around a carousel projector to share travel stories, each event invites four speakers to take the stage and bring their experiences to life. No scrolling, no filters — just people and the stories behind their photos.

​The evening runs like this:

​Guests arrive to an active room. Phones go into a personal envelope (yours to keep throughout the evening) and the night opens with interactive, fun activities and the chance to sign up to make your own solo 1-minute presentation that night.

​The program then kicks off with the first two invited speakers presenting their stories. A short interlude features a story from a sponsor followed by our spontaneous solo-slide presenters. We will close out the night with our two last invited speakers followed by a group Q&A.

​The evening ends with light snacks and refreshments. It's alcohol-free. You're out by 9:00--and can finally check your phone!
