

Green Brussels - Sunday Walk
What it is:
This is a "Green Brussels Sunday Walk" proposed to encourage conversations among participants from the Brussels area. This walk of approximately 8 km route will start near the metro station Hermann Debroux, walking till the forêt de Soignes, Boitsfort/Balai area, the Parc Seny and back to the start.
Purpose:
In addition to promoting healthy walks within Brussels, a goal is to leverage the cognitive benefits of walking—specifically to boost creativity, as supported by research

Logistics:
The walk will cover approximately 8 km, featuring various milestones to enjoy Brussels/Boitsfort area and the forêt de Soignes. The pace will be 5 km/hour approximately.
Afterwards:
An optional small restaurant will be organized after the walk for interested participants, restaurant to be defined with the participants.
Facilitation:
The walk will be guided by Alain Vereecke (IT freelance - analyst, scrum master, Woluwe walk guide, Commons Hub Brussels member).
Event fee: Free for CHB members and for "woluwe walk group" members, with a "conscious participation" option for non-members participants.
Confirmation:
Depending on the weather on the planned date, the guide will confirm via email this walk a few days before this date or it could be postponed to a new date informing the registered participants.
If a partcipant could finally not show up, he must cancel his registration via the page of the event in the lu.ma tool.
