About The Workshop Leader:
Mike Altman: Renewable Infra Transactions Advisor
Mike has spent more than 15 years working across energy markets, utility strategy, and renewable infrastructure. After beginning his post-MBA career in financial forecasting at PG&E, he worked with utilities and large energy users on capacity-market and demand-response programs at EnerNOC (now Enel X). He later moved into renewable infrastructure at SolarCity, Tesla and NextEra. In 2021, Mike founded Clean Catch Energy, an independent advisory focused on renewable development, markets, transactions, and diligence. He recently originated and developed a 1+ GW greenfield portfolio that was acquired by a major IPP, and he currently serves as an expert witness and advisor on renewable energy transaction and PPA disputes. The Clean Catch name is a nod to his background in competitive rowing.
