Cleantech Community Meetup
About the Event
Join us for our next Cleantech Community Meetup, bringing together founders, innovators, and ecosystem partners from across Ottawa's cleantech community.
This session will feature a fireside chat with Kostya Khomutov, Co-Founder and CEO of GBatteries, exploring the company's journey and the lessons learned while building and evolving an Ottawa-based cleantech company.
Building a technology company rarely follows a straight path. Kostya will share the decisions, pivots, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped GBatteries along the way—from developing its core battery technology to exploring applications across new markets and environments, including Canada's North and the defence sector.
The conversation will offer a candid look at what it takes to adapt technology for new use cases, identify emerging market opportunities, build partnerships, and continue evolving a company as both the technology and market change.
The conversation will be moderated by Andrew Matthews, Cleantech Advisor at Invest Ottawa, who brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across the international cleantech and sustainability landscape.
Coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided!
