About Event

Join the Association for Women in Science - DC Chapter during DC Climate Week for Circuit to Solution: E-Waste Art & Climate Conversations, an interactive evening of e-waste collage art, climate dialogue, and networking where all are welcome. While crafting with discarded electronic materials, participants will engage in guided conversations on the hidden environmental cost of technology, local climate impacts in DC, and practical climate actions individuals can take.

The event will be led by Jocelyn Marquez and Sarah Shamash, climate scientists trained at George Washington University. Sarah is a published author in the prestigious Science journal and former Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute research fellow, while Jocelyn previously worked on climate projections with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and now works at the intersection of education and conservation.

DC Climate Week is not responsible for this event. It is organized by the organizing group, and being listed on the DCCW calendar is not an endorsement of content or partners.
