​About the session
How do we design and deploy responsible AI in healthcare, especially in low and middle income countries (LMICs), where the stakes are high and the risks complex?

​This Technology Salon brings together practitioners, policymakers, and technologists for an off-the-record conversation on the real-world use of AI in global health, with a particular focus on underserved communities.

​The discussion will center on practical experience and honest reflection. Participants will share lessons from the field, ask hard questions about what responsible deployment actually looks like, and explore how AI tools can be developed and used in ways that are safe, effective, and equitable.

​This will be an interactive session designed for dialogue rather than presentations. With a group of around 35 participants over 90 minutes, there will be space for everyone to contribute to the conversation.
