A small, informal breakfast for founders, operators, investors and ecosystem partners working with science-led companies across climate tech, medtech and biotech.
Some of the most important companies in London’s deep tech ecosystem are being built around technologies that can improve how we live, heal and sustain the planet. But turning that kind of innovation into a defensible, fundable company is rarely straightforward. At the early stages, teams are often still shaping the core technology, developing the IP that will underpin the business, working out how to fund R&D, and deciding the best route from research into market.
This breakfast is for people building or supporting R&D-heavy companies developing technical, scientific or complex products where the commercial path is still being shaped. There will be no panel, no pitching and no formal presentation. The aim is simply to bring together a focused group of people connected to science-led companies to meet each other, share notes and have useful conversations around R&D strategy, IP, commercialisation, funding, partnerships, product direction and the path to market.
We’re keeping the group small so everyone has the chance to properly introduce themselves and speak to others in the room. We’ll start from 8:30am with breakfast and coffee, followed by quick introductions and an informal group conversation. We’ll wrap by 10:00am.
