Sewing 101-Juniors- Learn How to Sew A Pillowcase
This beginner-friendly sewing class is designed specifically for teens ages 10–18 who want to learn how to sew in a fun, supportive environment. Students will be guided step-by-step through the basics of machine sewing while creating a scrunchie to take home. Because this is a small, teen-focused class with only 6 spots available, each student will receive plenty of individualized instruction, hands-on guidance, and support throughout the project.
Learn how to sew your own pillowcase and add a pop of personality to your room! In this beginner-friendly project, teens will learn how to measure, cut, pin, and stitch fabric while creating a custom pillowcase they’ll actually want to use. Choose fun prints, bold colors, or trendy patterns to match your style. It’s the perfect intro to sewing — practical, creative, and totally customizable (we will have the option to embroider initials!).

About Your Instructor:
Ellie (No Clue Threads) has been sewing since age 11, when her grandmother gifted her a first sewing machine and passed along the family tradition of creativity with fabric. From tailoring and upcycling to handmade gifts, Ellie has always loved transforming textiles into something new. Her workshops are designed to be welcoming, community-driven spaces where beginners can learn at their own pace, explore creativity, and experience the joy of making something with their own two hands. Ellie is a junior swim instructor at the YMCA and is very well versed in instructing minors!
