UX Chats x DesignWalks — 1st Edition
The UX Chats: Design Walks SF #1 — Mystery Prompt
The last few months have been a lot. In the best way.
New roles, new opportunities, new people… and a lot of growth.
Now it’s time to slow down a bit and create space again.
With that, The UX Chats is officially back, and we’re kicking things off with our first in-person event ever. 🙌🏻
This isn’t a networking event
Not about portfolios
Not about job hunting
Not about surface-level conversations
This is about reconnecting with why you design.
Our first walk (and every other after this one) will be themed. I’ll share some prompts ahead of time to get your thoughts flowing.
No prep needed. Just open thoughts.
Most designers don’t take the time to reflect on this, so we’re doing it together.
We’ll go on a light, engaging walk through downtown Palo Alto, explore interesting streets and corners, and leave space for real conversations.
We’ll finish at one of my favorite spots, Coupa Cafe, a Venezuelan coffee shop with amazing coffee and authentic finger food. This will be our last stop before the 5 PM end. Anyone who wishes to stay can stay and anyone who wishes to leave can leave.
The intro will include the DESIGN PROMPT REVEAL.
Just good people, thoughtful dialogue, and maybe a little caffeine 👀😂
