Following the successful launch of ENABLE Canada in Niagara, the series continues in Toronto, with additional city-based convenings planned in Sudbury York Region and Peterborough. ENABLE Canada brings together leaders across education, employment, technology, policy, and community sectors to advance accessibility and disability inclusion at scale.
With over 8 million Canadians living with a disability, and hundreds of thousands of job-ready individuals still excluded from meaningful workforce participation, the need for coordinated, practical solutions has never been more urgent. ENABLE Canada focuses on strengthening local and regional ecosystems by aligning decision-makers, institutions, employers, and innovators around inclusive workforce systems that work in real-world settings.
The Toronto convening is designed to move beyond awareness and toward action—highlighting how accessibility, inclusive design, and technology can work together to unlock talent, reduce systemic barriers, and support long-term economic participation.
