MythOS: Intro to Ritual Theatre #1 [public]

​Calling all ritualists, witches, alchemists, wizards, magical beings of all names, shapes and sizes.  

​Please join me for this inaugural Intro to Ritual Theatre class offering. After 4 years of study in oracular and ritual arts, I am building a base of ritualists in the Bay Area to dream and play with.  

​My name is Nicole and I have directed and produced Ritual Theatre offerings for Lightning in a Bottle, Hedoné Mexico, The Portal, and most recently The SphinxGate @ Burning Man.  After cultivating these ritual offerings around the world, I am excited to gather more ritualists in the Bay Area to create and offer more to our local community. 

​In this class series we will explore what Ritual Theatre is: the art of crafting a prayer rand bringing it into form through contemporary performance art, ancient ritual technologies and immersive experience design.  

​My intention is to teach the foundations of ritual language and attunement to the group ritual field, where we have the language, vocabulary and presence to hold each other safely in ritual space. When we have this language, we can bring ritual anywhere and everywhere, together. 

​This series will consist of 4 classes on Wednesdays with a final Prayerformance which is a group ritual offering we will craft choreograph and perform together.

​Feel free to show up to the first class to drop into the field and see if the full series is something you are interested in participating in.  Each class will build upon the last, and as the weeks go by we will drop into a group ritual field together.  We will also have a What’s App Group to keep in touch in between live classes.  

​Pay what you can, I would rather have everyone interested in building this foundation with me able to come than worry about the finances of it right now.   That being said, please invest an amount that will help fuel your for motivation for showing up for our group and for yourself.
