About Event

Join us for February's Career Advancement Monthly Meetup.

We are excited to be re-launching MCJ's career advancement series with Andy Nelson of The Positive Career Coach. A free, virtual, and fun way to receive practical advice, expert insights, and networking opportunities to help you reach your professional goals and take the next step in your career.

This month, Mia Ketterling and Lou Mark join us from Pinterest and Autodesk for a conversation surrounding how they are advancing sustainability across operations, product, and strategy. 🌱

Meet our speakers:

  • Mia Ketterling is the Sr. Global Sustainability Lead at Pinterest, where she drives the company’s sustainability strategy, manages GHG inventory, advances science-based targets, and oversees ESG disclosures. Previously a Design Program Manager at Pinterest and Creative Development professional at Apple, she holds a B.S. in Business and International Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is pursuing a postgraduate certificate from the University of Cambridge. She lives in Pacifica, California, with her husband and two kids.

  • Lou Mark is the Sustainable Operations Lead on Autodesk’s Impact Team in New York City, advancing corporate decarbonization through renewable energy, carbon pricing, sustainable aviation fuel, and carbon removal. With global experience across Europe, APAC, and the U.S., including roles at Anthesis Group and Guidehouse, he combines policy insight and practical strategy to align climate goals with regulations. Lou studied political science and music at Northwestern University, international relations with an environmental focus at Johns Hopkins University, and holds a master’s degree in energy economics from Sciences Po–Paris.

This session will be participatory, and we encourage all folks to join - regardless of exposure to climate tech prior to the call.
