Impact Studio - Planted x Youth Tech Labs
The Impact Studio hosted by Planted Youth Opportunities and Youth Tech Labs is where youth energy meets community challenges. Designed as a launchpad for Planted Youth Opportunities’ mission and a new cohort launch for Youth Tech Labs, this event connects students and community leaders for a day of learning, collaboration, and innovation.

What to Expect
Participants will:
Form teams through speed networking and icebreakers
Hear from inspiring leaders in the Kitchener-Waterloo community
Engage directly with 10 local community organizations to understand real-world challenges, framed through the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Participate in design sprints, workshops, and brainstorming sessions
Share early solutions through gallery walks and feedback sessions
