SFCW Hands-On with Carbon Markets and Beyond: Patch Field Trip + Workshop
What if you could take a field trip during SF Climate Week? Consider this your official permission slip.
We're swapping the lectures for a live walk through of a real project facility that makes low-carbon concrete by injecting CO2 into it. We're taking a small group of corporate sustainability leaders out to see it, up close, with their own eyes, then heading back for an afternoon of honest, hands-on workshop with peers in a closed-door setting.
The field trip is optional, so join us for any part of the day that you can make it to!
Who this event is for: Sustainability leaders, operators or practitioners working inside enterprise corporations. We are keeping this program focused and productive for peer learning and networking. If this is not you, we unfortunately cannot include you in this particular event.
The day includes:
[optional] Morning field trip (9:00–11:30 AM): A guided tour of a live CarbonCure project installation. Patch will cover transportation.
Roundtable lunch (12:00–1:00 PM): Network with other key sustainability leaders in an intimate setting.
Hands-on workshop sessions (1:00–3:30 PM): Get hands-on to leave with a notebook filled with real ideas you can take back to your work.

We’ll aim to get away from abstract discussion and into the real-world details around quality signals, markets that have surprised people, deals they'd do differently, and how practitioners are thinking about portfolio balance across commodity types, and how to leverage AI to support these efforts.AI for Climate Operators
This is a practitioner exchange on where AI is genuinely accelerating impact and improving decisions in climate and where it isn't. Get hands on with real-life ways sustainability leads are using AI today and learn how to leverage AI in your own day to day work.
