Threadsgiving | A Thanksgiving Potluck for Women in Tech
A cozy evening of gratitude, food, and conversations with other amazing members of The Thread community.
This potluck is a chance to slow down, connect with incredible women in tech, and celebrate what we’re creating and building together in Vancouver.
Bring your favorite dish to share and come ready to feel nourished in every way.
🥄 BYOP (Bring Your Own Plate)… and utensils, maybe even a cute mason jar? This will help us stay eco-conscious (and keep our shopping list shorter 😉). If not, we’ll have a few extras on hand for a smooth setup.
🍷 Heads up: this will be a dry Threadsgiving. Our beautiful venue doesn’t allow alcohol, but trust us, the connections and conversations will still leave you feeling bubbly. 🥂
There’s also no stove onsite, but we do have a microwave to reheat your dish and a small fridge if needed (no freezer). Plan something easy to warm or serve chilled and you’re golden.

Final address will be shared upon confirmation. Parking is limited in the area, so transit, carpooling, or rideshare are encouraged.
⚠️ Limited to 30 women. If you RSVP, we are counting on you as another woman in tech might miss her chance.

By registering, you commit to honoring your word and showing up in person. If you cannot attend, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance so another person can take your spot.
We track no-shows and prioritize members and guests who consistently respect this code. Thank you for helping us raise the standard of in-person meetups.

Potluck items are prepared and contributed by individual attendees. The Thread does not prepare, inspect, or verify ingredients and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests are responsible for deciding what is appropriate for them to consume and should speak directly with the person who brought a dish if they have questions about ingredients, preparation, or potential allergens.

Photos and videos may be taken during Thread events. By attending, you consent to their use across The Thread’s social media, website, and channels. If you prefer not to appear in event photos or videos, please let the host or photographer know and avoid joining group photos.
