Paper as Interface
Paper as Interface — Arduino Day 2026
What happens when a sheet of paper becomes a circuit?
This is a free hybrid micro-lab hosted at School of Tomorrow's AI in Wetzikon, Zürich, as part of Arduino Day 2026 — the annual global celebration of open-source hardware and maker culture.
Over 3 hours, we'll explore paper as a material for electronics: copper tape circuits, conductive connections, LEDs, small components, and quick prototypes that blur the line between craft and computation. Three working prototypes will anchor the session, but the emphasis is on experimentation, detours, and productive failure — not polished results.
The session is broadcast live on Twitch, where the online audience participates actively via chat and voting.
No prior experience required. This is for makers, artists, educators, designers, and curious beginners who want to learn by doing — or just by watching.
When: Saturday, 28 March 2026, 13h-16h (CET)
Where: School of Tomorrow's AI · Schönaustrasse 13, 8620 Wetzikon, Zürich
Format: Hybrid — in-person + Twitch livestream at twitch.tv/lina_lopes
Cost: Free
Hosted by Lina Lopes — artist, educator, and founder of School of Tomorrow's AI.
