What is this?
Think of it as a book club, but for movies.
Every month we'll watch a movie that touches on startups, technology, or ambition, then grab drinks before and after with other founders and builders. It's a chill way to make a few friends while talking about something other than fundraising or Claude Code.
Why are we doing this?
Most startup events revolve around pitching, fundraising, or networking. We wanted an excuse to talk about the bigger questions: how technology and startups shape society and how building them shapes us.
We pick a relevant movie each month and discuss it with others who are also creating the future.
What to expect?
Come join us early to meet other folks. If you like, afterward we'll go to a bar to keep the conversation going over drinks.

October's selection is You Can See Everything.
Thirty-four days before she reported to federal prison, Elizabeth Holmes invited a film crew into her home. What came out three years later is less a documentary than an interrogation of what documentaries are.
Every founder is asked to believe something before the evidence exists, and to get other people to believe it too. Theranos is the story we point at to mark where that goes wrong, but the line looks blurrier up close: When does conviction curdle into self-deception? Who around you is supposed to catch it? And what does it feel like from the inside, when you've lost the ability to tell?
Also, Nathan Fielder moved in with Holmes and her husband to make this, and A24 confiscated phones at the Telluride premiere so nothing could leak before anyone knew the film existed. That's exactly the kind of obsessive craftsmanship we appreciate.
