Instead, join us for Climate Week Pizza Party, a lunchtime gathering that serves up lessons and connections with Indigenous leaders, sustainable art from the heart of the Amazon, and actual pizza.
We asked eight Indigenous leaders across the globe:
“What is your slice of a sustainable future?”
Their answers? Hand-stitched into pizza slices using traditional craft techniques, stories of resilience, coexistence, and renewal made tangible. These slices will be showcased alongside Indigenous-made products from the launch of the Amazon section of The Rurban Library (rurban.com) : a new digital platform to support 5 Indigenous communities to protect and promote truly sustainable products, in partnership with the UNDP Indigenous Bioeconomy accelerator.
