RSI at Toronto Climate Week: A Look at Successful Building Conversions and How to Enable Future Projects

​At RSI we are constantly exploring better ways of unlocking opportunity for sustainable growth. We will update you on our ongoing initiative Rethink 4 Walls (R4W), and explore successful office to residential conversions in Canada with research completed by Southern Harbour Limited. Next we will hear directly from the City of Ottawa and learn of their successes in these regards providing much needed unconventional housing solutions. We will learn more about how building conversions and retrofits can be done in a sustainable and profitable way and what is needed from a policy perspective to enable more of these solutions. This conversation will include insights from Belinda Gilbey, Founder and CEO of Bondi Energy Corp, Robert Barnard, CEO of Toboggan Flats, Bob Drizis, VP Financing at PeakHill Capital, moderated by Tom Hawkett, Chief Connection Officer at Connect4 Growth. The Final word will be from Kirk Johnson who will share information on the EPICS Studio
