Have you ever wanted to help design a runaway collection? What does the fashion of the future look like, and how will it come to be?
Join FashionxTech Designer Sebastián Vogelmann & Neurotech Media Artist Ninon Lizé Masclef for a session of imagining, ideating and illustrating what the future of fashion design will look like (in SF).

As they’re developing their joint Fall/Winter 2026 collection right here in SF, Sebastián and his co-lead Ninon want to hear what San Franciscans, fashion enthusiasts, and anyone curious wants to see more of in fashion design— both in SF, and the future of fashion itself.
There will be a brief lecture on how different forces develop the fashion of a given time period, technology’s role in shaping the look of an era, and where fashion is headed in the remainder of the century. After this, we’ll spend some time sketching out what we want to see in the future.
No fashion or drawing experience required!
In this session we’ll be focusing on these questions:
• How does the fashion of an era come to be, what shapes it, and how can you predict it?
• How is technology intertwined with fashion?
• Why does SF style look the way it does now? (and how do we change it)
• What will the fashion of the future look like?
• What do you think the future of the fashion will look like?
• What do you want the future of fashion to look like?
Bring:
• A sketchbook or paper (strongly recommended)
• Colorful drawing implements (strongly recommended)
• A computer
• Your curiosity & imagination (not optional)
• Your beautiful self, of course!
Some art supplies will be provided, but we strongly advise bringing your own sketchbook and supplies, as supplies go quickly.
There will be several fashion design & technology lookbooks on hand for inspiration, graciously loaned from the private library of couturier Lance Victor Moore, as well as Sebastián’s own collection.
There is no dress code, but stylish fits will be appreciated & there will be plenty of people to provide fashion advice if you need it <3
