SEA & SPACE SUMMIT @ BITBASEL MIAMI ART WEEK
SEA & SPACE SUMMIT @ BITBASEL MIAMI ART WEEK
Thursday, December 4
From the ocean’s depths to outer space — pioneers unite to explore our shared frontier.
Join astronaut Nicole Stott, Astronaut Wrangler Christina Korp, and leading explorers, scientists, artists, and innovators as they bridge creativity with discovery. Featuring Bruce Ha, inventor of Nanofiche — the microscopic archival technology preserving humanity’s knowledge, including the first art museum sent to the Moon.
The Sea & Space Summit brings together visionaries from NASA, Blue Origin, the UK Space Agency, DEEP, NOAA, the Space for Art Foundation, SPACE for a Better World, and global marine research organizations for a full-day immersive journey across two of humanity’s greatest frontiers.
Through keynotes, panels, artistic showcases, and live activations, attendees will explore:
Parallels between deep-sea exploration & human spaceflight
Coral restoration, ocean health & planetary stewardship
Microgravity research, future habitats & interplanetary living
Creativity as a catalyst for scientific and cultural innovation
This rare convergence highlights how imagination, exploration, and responsibility shape our future — on Earth and beyond.
