AI Agents SF #11 — AI Assistants (OpenClaw and others)
AI Assistants (OpenClaw and others)
Agenda:
5:00 pm Registration & Networking
5:30 pm Welcome
5:45 pm State of Claw: Self Optimising Agents to Lobsters
Vincent Koc is a research leader in the field of self-optimising agents and works at Comet a leading open-source AI organisation. Outside of his day to day he is a recent maintainer of OpenClaw, our friendly lobster that has taken 2026 by storm. Join Vincent has he talks about the state of engineering and development in 2026 from self optimising agents to crustaceans. From 1,000s for PRs and agents in the wild to a glimpse of what’s next in practical terms.
6:15 pm OpenClaw from 0 to hero in 15 mins or so — a risk of claws in under an hour!
Michael (Max) Maximilien — Distinguished Engineer, Startup Founder, and our Coorganizer! Max has been building non-stop for months, winning hackathons and unleashing agents. OpenClaw agents are working for him as we speak. He will also discuss how he's building his entire company with 100% agents (lobsters) and lessons learned (good and bad) and even share perhaps a few tools and tips ;)
6:45 pm Towards a true Internet of Agents
Vlad Luzin, Thenvoi
What does it take to move from isolated AI assistants to a true Internet of Agents? Drawing on more than 20 years of experience with distributed and multi-agent systems, Vlad Luzin explores the architectural challenges of building scalable, interoperable agent ecosystems. He will show how combining autonomous AI agents (like OpenClaw) or coding agents (like ClaudeCode or Codex) with collaboration-agnostic infrastructure makes secure, cross-platform AI-to-AI coordination possible — turning a long-standing vision into a practical reality.
Vlad Luzin is the CTO and Co-Founder of Thenvoi. Previously, Vlad served as VP, AI & Cloud Platform at Verint and VP, Product & Engineering at Lynceus, and earlier held senior roles at CME Group (post-NEX acquisition), where he helped run high-throughput trading platforms handling hundreds of billions of dollars in daily volume. Earlier in his career, he led distributed and fault-tolerant systems research at Israel’s Directorate of Defense R&D and spearheaded multi-agent AI initiatives at Samsung Telecom Research.
7:15 pm Community 2 mins talks: tell us what you are doing or plan to do with OpenClaw by first five to line up attending
7:30 pm Pizza and networking
