Join us in learning how to utilize Augmented Reality as a medium, discuss how to evaluate media based on worldviews, and creating your personal AR scene using Styly, a web-based AR platform!

Host — PRISM Collective, a creative tech group based out of Waterloo, Ontario. Exploring the edge where art meets technology, PRISM nurtures an interdisciplinary community where students from technical and creative backgrounds collaborate, experiment, and showcase innovative projects.
Guest Speaker — David Han is a media artist, scholar and educator with 10+ years of experience. As a professor at UWaterloo and UofT, David has guided students to use creative practice as a form of research. His award-winning artwork has been exhibited internationally at ISEA, FIVARS and VRTO and his arts-based research is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
