NFI & Friends of the Riverfront - Impact Event
In place of our typical types of monthly gatherings, we're doing a hands-on volunteer evening with one of the nonprofits doing great work to keep our city clean, Friends of the Riverfront.
Since 1991, Friends of the Riverfront has worked to protect and restore the riverfront in the Pittsburgh region through trail development and stewardship after decades of legacy pollution.
All are welcome to join at Aslin Beer Company from 5:00-9:00pm for our usual networking and sips. The Network for Impact team will be stationed here for the evening, and we look forward to seeing you! Everyone will pay their own way.

CLEANUP EVENT DETAILS
All interested volunteers will need to complete this online waiver and registration form to register.
We will meet between 5:00-5:30pm and make our way to the Three Rivers Heritage Trailhead location to begin our trail stewardship activities.
Meetup Location: Aslin Beer Company
Clean-up Location: 18th Street Trailhead, Three Rivers Heritage Trail Strip District
***Please arrive BEFORE 5:30pm if you will participate in the river cleanup.***
Parking: There is paid parking in the Strip District Terminal Parking Lot, as well as street parking. You're also encouraged to bike, walk, or bus to Aslin.
What: Volunteers will collect litter, brush back overgrown vegetation, remove graffiti, and perform other trail stewardship activities.
How: We will walk to the site for a project overview, safety talk, and group photo. Project work will conclude at 6:45pm (or dusk), followed by a tool cleanup. We will hand out stickers and maps, and volunteers will rejoin Network For Impact at Aslin.
Attire: Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required; long sleeves are encouraged. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Supplies and Equipment: Volunteer vests, gloves, tools and all project equipment will be provided by Friends of the Riverfront.
Water: Please bring your own water.
Toilet: There is not a public restroom immediately onsite.
